Description

MICROSATELLITE-ENRICHED LIBRARIES: The United States Geological Survey intends to issue an order under other than full and open competition to Genetic Identification Services, Inc, 9552 Topanga Blvd, Chatsworth, CA 91311. The purpose of this acquisition is for Micro satellite-enriched libraries. This company performs a proprietary enrichment technique. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
