- DESC: NSN: 1005-01-033-1524, Part Number: 11826253 - The item to procure is a Sear, used as a Trigger for barrel extension on M240 Machine Gun. Material: alloy steel, bar heat treated and phosphate coated. Overall length is 79.867 millimeters nomi nal; overall width is 12.370 millimeters nominal. Requirements are 1,000 each, Sear. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. The proposed contract will include a 200 percent option. FOB is destination. The sear is used on the M240 Machine Gu n. Estimated issue date is 11 June 2004. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Vendors, who need the TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal, are instructed to complete the non-disclosu re and non-use agreement, which will be attachment 001 to the solicitation, and email the completed copy to mcgregors@ria.army. mil. Once completed, the TDP will be forwarded to the mailing address provided on the non-disclosure and non-use agreement by no rmal mail. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code, Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number, an electronic mail address, and a fax number. A License Agreement betwee n FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items, being procured under this contract, exclusively within the US and Cana da. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the In ternet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
