- Description
- The U. S. Army ARDEC, Picatinny, NJ anticipates soliciting a sole source (in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 (b) (1) (ii)) Firm Fixed Price contract modification to Frontier Performance Polymers Corporation located in Parsippanny, NJ for fabrication of 100 pieces of 5.56mm unprimed plastic cartridge cases. This will be a contract modification to the existing contract DAAE30-03-C-1130. The initial contract was for the design of a one piece plastic cartridge case. This sole source modification to the contract is for the fabrication of a quantity of 100 cartridge cases in accordance with the design, and manufacturing methodology which is proprietary to Frontier Performance Polymers Corporation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. See Note 22.
