- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the Northern Region Contracting Center, Fort Eustis, VA, intends to make award to the Southwest Florida Council Inc, Boy Scouts of America on a sole-source Non-Competitive basis. To provide services for camping, b illeting, training facilities, and support services (to include training medical, health and welfare, and expendable supplies), and meals to be provided to 350 JROTC cadets, and instructors/chaperones for (7) days. This location is at Fort Miles, Florida. Emergency medical capabilities must be present, and communications must exist to seek medical evacuation if necessary. Facilities must be self-contained so as to provide on-site billeting, feeding, showering and training. Contractor transportation to t raining sites will be provided for sites more than two miles from cadets billeting. Training categories include required, integrated and organized activities which include rappelling, mountain climbing, confidence/obstacle course, leadership reaction cour se, map reading/land navigation, aquatic activities/drown proofing, and awards ceremony, physical training field sanitation, leadership, and drill and ceremonies. Contractor must provide continuous staff presence during the camp, and must provide a safe e nvironment for personnel. The NAICS code is 721214, SIC code 7032. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business with revenue of $6.0M dollars or less. Quotes are due by 11:00 A.M. 29 May 2004.
