- J?Install ?? PVC coated stainless steel airlines, gauges & fittings on 2 well pumps This is a presolicition notice for commercial services. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and provide a video tape of well casings and any other items and services as necessary for the installation of ?? PVC coated stainless steel airlines, gauges & fittings on 2 each deep wells. Contractor shall remove deep well turbine pumps, video tape both casings, complete an on-site inspection of column pipe, shafts and pumps. Contractor shall inspect and check the pump intermediate line shaft for overall conditioning and staightness and repair to manufacturer?s specifications. Contractor shall install new ?? stainless steel airlines, gauges & fittings and reinstall pumps in accordance with Statement of Work. Contractor is also required to disinfect the wells after repairs and installation of airlines IAW the most current American Water Works Association Standard guideliines (AWWA C654-97, Disinfection of Water Wells). Sampling shall be performed by government and Contractor will be required to disinfect the wells until sample results indicate the facility is free of microbiological contamination and it can be placed back in service. Contractor shall ensure the work area is always clean and free of debris. Site Visit information will be provided on the solicitation. Contractor shall ensure work is performed by trained, certified personnel. Contractor shall perform work during normal business hours, from 07:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The solicitation must be downloaded from www.eps.gov., as no paper copies will be issued. This solicitation will be available on or about 28 April 2004 using the commercial format (FAR 12). A firm fixed price contract is contemplated with an award date of on or about 21 May 2004. This acquisition will be made under 100% total small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811310. The size standard is $6 Million dollars or less. All interested parties must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
