Description
The USDA, Farm Service Agency, Human Resource Division, has a requirement for 102 Rosemount Velocity workstations. Workstations shall include corner shelves and articulating keyboard trays. A brief description of workstations is as follows: a) 3 ea. Typical Co-op Station, 42?W x 80?H b) 4 ea. Typical Co-op Station, 60?W x 80?H c) 6 ea. Typical Workstation, 6.5? x 6.5? x 80?H d) 18 ea. Typical Workstation, 6.0? x 9.0? x 80?H e) 69 ea. Typical Workstation, 6.5? x 9.0? x 80?H f) 1ea. Typical Reception Workstation, 6.5? x 6.5? x 80?H g) 1ea. Typical Reception Workstation, 6.5? x 9.0? x 80?H. Further details of the workstations are available by E-mail request. Contractor will be required to deliver and install all workstations. Workstation installation and delivery will be in phases thus requiring storage of workstations at the contractors own facility. Phases are expected to be over a 3-month period. Contractor shall be able to deliver from storage within 48 hours of notice. Some workstations may be required immediately without storage or all units may be stored until needed. A minimum of 6 months storage will be required for workstations. Only workers with Rosemount Furniture assembly experience shall do installation. Contractor shall be prepared to provide background on installation personnel?s experience with Rosemount workstation assembly. Delivery and installation address is 2101 L Street, NW; Suite 500; Washington, DC. Contractor shall remove old USDA furniture and dispose of properly or as instructed by the USDA, Property Operations Branch, Washington DC. Evaluation of proposals will be based upon ability to store workstations, ability to deliver to Washington DC location within the notice period, price, and capability/experience of installation crews. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in [FAR] Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Contractor must be registered on the Federal Government?s Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr.gov) prior to award of contract.
