Description

ISSUE DATE: 06/10/04. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to demolish and replace the ramp and stairway at Owl?s Head Lighthouse, Owls Head Maine (Knox County). The work shall include demolition of existing timber structures, construction of a new timber stairway, two crushed stone walkways with stone borders, a single flight of flagstone steps with galvanized steel handrails, and a chain link fence with pedestrian and vehicle gates. The estimated cost range of this project is $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation will be issued subject to the availability of funds. The government will reserve the right to cancel the procurement either prior to or after the scheduled closing date. Solicitation packages will be available on or about 06/10/04. The due date for receipt of proposals is scheduled for 07/12/04 at 2:00 pm. This solicitation is issued in accordance with FAR Part 19, and is 100% set-aside for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 238990 and the size standard is $12.0 million. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue at the following site: http://www.eps.gov.
