- ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport has a requirement for AN/BQH-7 and AN/BQH-7A Bathythermograph recorders and on-board repair spares and spare parts kits. A five year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract with firm fixed price provisions is currently anticipated. It is estimated that a maximum of 10 recorders/year may be ordered. Delivery time frames are approx 90 days after order is issued. A proposed sole source contract with Sippican, Inc. (Marion, MA) is planned. Sippican is the sole designer, developer and manufacturer of the AN/BQH-7/7A Recorder Systems. We are unaware of any additional companies with the expertise required to produce these units.
