- Description
- Timber Sales: The work includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supervision, tools, transportation, and management necessary for harvesting sawtimber and pulpwood and other incidental related work at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. All merchantable timber products are to become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the limits of the Station. This is a Multiple Award, Firm Fixed Price, Services Contract. Three contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. Contractors may bid on all compartments, one compartment, or any combination of compartments they chose. Any Amendments issued must be acknowledged when your bid is submitted. Failure to acknowledge the amendment may constitute grounds for rejection of the bid. Bid documents will be available on or about 09 June 2004. The bid opening date will be on or about 22 July 2004. Mr. Danny Marshburn will accompany prospective bidders to the site on 16 June 2004. Prospective Bidders who wish to inspect the site should be at Building No. 58, located on Virginia Dare Drive at the Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, before 9:00 am. The NAICS Code is 113310, Logging. The size standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to issue the solicitation on the E Solicitations Site http://esol.navfac.navy.mil/.
