- Description
- The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a sole source non-competitive procurement to Cochran & Wilken, Inc. for the design of improvements in scientific aquaculture facilities at the Tunison Laboratory of Aquatic Science (TLAS) Atlantic Salmon Rearing Capabilities located in Cortland, New York and to provide management and oversight for the drilling of test wells and production wells associated with water quality and quantity analysis of the water flow produced from the wells for the water supply requirements at the TLAS facility. A competitive award was issued to Cochran & Wilken for an original assessment study. Cochran & Wilken's unique staff of fishery biologists, engineers and technicians focuses on aquaculture and water resource engineering which is critical to the needed work. Additionally, competition of a preliminary assessment study did not result in identification of other qualified sources. No formal solicitation will be available.
