Description
This procurement is advertised as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers District, New Orleans, has a requirement for Real Estate Title Evidence Services in support of the Big Hill Strategic Petroleum Reserve Project, Jeffe rson County, Texas. The contract area is located in Jefferson County, Texas. The Corps intends to award one purchase order with a base period and four option periods. Each period will have a minimum of two tracts and a maximum of ten tracts. Each period can be exercised and capacity can be rolled over if necessary to the next period until all periods are exhausted. The contract will be awarded to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. The minimum technical qualifications are that the offeror m ust be Texas state licensed and general certified real estate appraiser and receive approval by the Department of Justice/U.S. Attorney. The delivery schedule will be: for Interim (Commitment) Title Binders - 15 calendar days from receipt of ENG Fm 1011 ; for Intermediate Certificate or Update Binder - 15 calendar days from receipt of Eng Fm 1011; and for Final Title Policies - 30 calendar days from receipt of Eng Fm 1011; with final plat map, and legal description and title information. The appraiser wil l prepare and sign the appraisal reports; prepare updates of prior assignments; and provide trial preparation, depositions and court testimony as required during condemnation proceedings. Q uotes will be due June 7, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, Building 7400 Leake Avenue, Rm 172, New Orleans, LA 70160-0267 or Post Office Box 60267, New Orleans, LA 70160-0267. Interested parties shall make requests for this RFQ in writing to the address above, or by fax, to the attention of the Contract Specialist listed below, prior to the issue date.
