- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. W911RQ-04-T-1100 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001 dat ed 5 May 2004. This RFQ is not a set-aside. Line Item #0001, 645 each, Front Righthand Reinforcements, Drawing# 12342630 Rev A; Line Item# 0002, 645 each, Support Righthand, Drawing# 12342631 Rev B; Line Item# 0003, 1290 each, D Beam Bracket Reinforcemen t, Drawing# 12342629; Line Item# 0004, 645 each, Cargo Floor Reinforcement, Drawing# 12342628 Rev B; Line Item# 0005, 645 each, Vertical Righthand Reinforcement, Drawing# 12342632 Rev A. These parts are for the 1097 Series Humvee manufactured by AM Genera l Corporation. The drawings are electronically available upon written request (ppeterson@redriver-ex.army.mil). Delivery requirements, minimum of 100 each of all line items required NLT 31 July 2004 with the balance of each line item delivered in minimum 1 00 unit increments monthly thereafter to Red River Army Depot, 100 Main Drive, Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. The following provisions are applicable: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation - Commercial Items, (a) Award will be made to the responsible offeror providing the best delivery provided the price is determined to be fair and reasonable. You are hereby notified that Red River Army Depot intends to post the contract award document, including unit prices, to publicly available internet sites. Accordingly, we consider any right of notification of our intention to release unit prices pursuant to Executive Order 12600 (June 23 1987) (Pre-Disclosure Notification Procedures for Confidential Commercial Information) to be waived unless the contracting officer is notified of your objection to such posting before the time noted for closing.
