- Description
- United States Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) intends to modify Contract Number F61521-01-D-5001, with Radio Services Inc. (RSI) on a non-competitive basis. The purpose of the modification is to extend the period of performance of the current contract for 12 months at two six month options through 30 Sep 05. Under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, this contract action is contemplated to be sole source to provide cross-over maintenance of the old equipment as the new equipment phases in, as well as to allow the government to establish more accurate workload estimates for the new equipment to be procured under a new contract. No formal solicitation is available. The Government anticipates a modification not later than 11 June 2004.
