- A fixed quantity, firm-fixed price contract is contemplated for NSN: 2840-01-368-3960NZ, Pratt & Whitney P/N 4083877-01, NOUN: Vane Segment, QTY: Minimum 59 ea, Medium 118 each, Maximum 177 each, Required Delivery: 28 Feb 2005, Destination: Ship to FB2039, Size and Dimensions: Approx 3.25 inches X 2.5 inches X 12 inches, Predominant Material: Nickel Alloy, Form, Fit and Function: This is a segment ring which incorporates airfoil used to aid compression in the F100/PW 229 engine. Qualification requirements are not available for this Part Number. The only approved source at this time is Pratt & Whitney. Award will be an order against the Pratt & Whitney BOA. Anticipated Award date is 16 Jun 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Requests for solicitations may be faxed to (405) 734-8776. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
