- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas intends to issue solicitation RFQ 11411-020-5, for the provision of various bread products for the Federal Correctional Complex (Petersburg) located at 1100 River Road, Hopewell, Virginia 23860. The contract period shall consist of a base period that extends from the effective date of award through 12 months and two one-year option periods for renewal that will total thirty six months from the effective date of award (if all option periods are exercised). Estimated yearly contract requirements include: 1)40,000 packages of Rolls, Hoagie; 2) 55,000 loaves of White Bread; 3)5,000 loaves of Rye Bread; 4)55,000 loaves of Wheat Bread; 5)18,000 packages of Hotdog Buns; 6)8,000 packages of Dinner Rolls; 7)20,000 packages of Hamburger Buns; 8)2,000 loaves of Kosher/Pareve White Bread; 9)2,000 loaves of Kosher/Pareve Wheat Bread. The solicitation will be made available on or about June 11, 2004, and will be posted to the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities website, http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. This site provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the referenced website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations have the right to submit quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is July 9, 2004. The anticipated effective award date is October 1, 2004.
