- Description
- The National Library of Medicine (NLM) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with End Result, Annapolis, MD for the following services: CCTV system conversion to digital format. End Result will convert the existing video storage equipment to digital storage. As the existing matrix switcher and controllers will remain, the upgrade will involve new technology for storage and archive without affecting the viewing ability of the security staff. End Result will provide three digital recorders with rack mounts, one CDR and software, 9-inch color monitors with rack mounts, 12-inch color monitors with mounts, color cameras with custom mounting modifications, coax, connectors, hardware and supplies. End Result will also supply the required labor to install and program and provide testing and training for the system. End Result is uniquely qualified to perform the above tasks by virtue of the knowledge, expertise and experience it has acquired. End Result has over 5 years experience with such services with NLM. Additionally, the core system is currently in place and End Result is familiar with the existing layout. End Result?s expertise with the system helps provide best value to the Government. This service will be procured under FAR Part 12 ? Acquisition of Commercial Items. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible and responsive sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide the professional technical services as specified above. Responses must be in writing and should demonstrate the firm?s ability to meet the government?s requirements. Responses are required within 7 (seven) calendar days from the publication date of this notice. NLM synopsis No. 04-136 shall be noted on all correspondence to this announcement.
