- Description
- The proposed action is to use mechanical equipment to treat approximately 250 acres. The equipment would cut the Gambel Oak near ground level, leaving some of the larger diameter clumps to provide some visual diversity and benefits to some species of wildlife. In addition to Gambel Oak, a limited amount of small diameter Ponderosa pine and juniper trees would be thinned to further reduce the amount of aerial fuels. See Numbered note 1.
