- Description
- This is a sources sought notice: The United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG) has a requirement for qualified suppliers with federal Office of Inspector General and federal management training background. The qualified suppliers will provide professional and technical support to the USPS OIG. The qualified suppliers will assist in the development and presentation of managerial training specifically tailored for the unique management environment of the IG community. Support will be provided in the form of the development and presentation of training courses and materials in a wide variety of management subjects such as leadership and management, supervision, aspects of a well run organization, and personal skills management. The successful suppliers will have demonstrated experience in professional training, as well as significant experience in one or more of the following factors: (1) management of an inspector general organization; (2) management of an audit or investigative organization; or (3) the administration and interpretation of self evaluative tools such as Myers-Briggs. The supplier will perform the work at the OIG office in Arlington, VA. The solicitation will be issued in April 2004. The labor hour contract base period of performance shall be from date of award through September 30, 2005, with four one-year renewable option periods. The solicitation will only be available to interested suppliers that submit their capabilities statement addressing one or more of the above significant experience factors (no larger that ten (10) pages) to Cheryl Buchanan, Contracting Officer, via e-mail, at cbuchanan@uspsoig.gov, by Monday, April 19, 2004.
