- Description
- This is a modification to a presolicitation notice of 7 May for Advanced GPS Receiver and Life Extension Advance Missile Interface Support on Reentry Systems for Trident II (D5) Missile. This modification supercedes the 7 May notice in its entirety. This procurement will evaluate GPS performance for flight test environments and determine the need for concept of operations modifications on reentry systems test bodies. The procurement will also support the Life Extension Program on existing missile to reentry body interfaces and evaluate the power requirements to the reentry body GPS for flight testing hardware. The procurement will contain a base effort with one option year. Pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), negotiations will be conducted with Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc., 555 Technology Square, Cambridge, MA 02139, the only contractor, with the specialized experience, knowledge, and capabilities necessary for contract performance.
