- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase SMAW ESD Tote Bags, 2000 Qty. Drawings may be obtained by contacting XDS11A/B at (540) 653-7478 or email XDS11@nswc.navy.mil. The North American Industry Classification System code is 316991, 500 employee size standard. This requirement is 100 percent set-aside for small business and FAR 52.219-6 Notice of Total Small Business Set-Asi de (JUL 1996) is applicable. The contract shall be a firm fixed priced contract. FOB Destination shall apply. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quote number is N00178-04-Q-1033. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-17. Inquiries may be directed to the XDS11@nswc.navy.mil, or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS105, Bldg. 183, First Floor, Room 102, 17320 Dahlgren Rd., Dahlgren VA 22448-5100. Point of Contact is XDS105. The closing date is 1 June 2004 no later than 2:00 p.m. (local NSWCDD time) to: Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: XDS105, Bldg. 183, First Floor, Room 102, 17320 Dahlgren Rd., Dahlgren VA 22448-5100 and anticipated award by 8 June 2004. In order to be eligible for award, firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Quoters may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contractor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
