Description
W ? Lease or Rental of Equipment SOL: 261-0167-04 Due: June 18, 2004 Request for Proposal ? Industrial Trash Compactor Lease The Sierra Pacific Network Consolidated Contracting Activity intends to award a contract for the lease of an Industrial Trash Compactor System for use by the San Francisco VA Medical Center located at 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121. NAICS Code is 532490, size standard of $6 million applies. Period of Performance: July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2005, plus (4) four option years. Requirements include the following: A self-contained compactor and cart dumping system designed for use with commingled recyclables. System to include: 1. One (1) K-PAC KP2HT33 (brand name or equal), 33 cubic yard self-contained compactor fitted with open top hopper, 80% full light, multi-cycle function and remote control panel. 2. One (1) Toter Twin Post cart tipper mounted to loading dock (this is for use with dumping recycling toters located throughout property.) 3. One (1) set full-channel compactor guide/guard rails to protect concrete at loading dock. 4. Complete freight, electrical hook-up and installation. 5. Lease to include quarterly, factory-recommended preventive maintenance for the entire term of the lease. Telephone requests will NOT be accepted.
