- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being required and a written solicitation will not be issued. The provisions and clauses in the Request for Quotations RFQ are those in effect through FAC 97-27. The Regional Contracting Department, Marine Corps Base Hawaii intends on negotiating a Firm-Fixed contract for: 0001 Services to replace existing outfield fence at Annex Field, raising height to 20 feet, 500 feet long to be installed as the right, center and left field perimeter fence to include 40 grade posts and 9 gauge thickness chain link. Remove and dispose of all debris that is in excess during both projects to include the old fence and posts for Annex Field, all dirt and grass that is dug out when replacing existing fence. 0002 Services to install a 4 foot tall by 1780 feet long chain link fence around the outside perimeter of Pop Warners running track, to include two (2) 12 feet wide by 4 feet high swinging gates to be placed at the entrance next to the enlisted club and the other to be placed at the entrance closest to the Navy barracks towards the Semper Fitness Center. Four (4) gates (4 feet high by 4 feet wide), two (2) on the visitors side of the field and two (2) on the home side of the field. The home side of the field is located on the side where the press box is located. Remove and dispose of all debris at Pop Warner Field to include dirt, grass, rocks and anything else that has been dug up during this project. Note: A site visit will be conducted on 11 March 2004 at 1:00 p.m. to all interested parties. If any interested party does not attend the site visit, and an award is made to them; they are required to fulfill the requirements at their offered price. Coordinator and POC is Mr. Joe Au @ 808-254-7591 for delivery, removal of debri, removal of old fence, and installation. Services to provide all labor, materials and equipment for Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe, HI. Hawaii State Tax @ 4.166% is applicable. F.o.b. destination to Annex Field and Pop Warner Field in MCBH Kaneohe Bay, HI 96863. The NAICS and the small business standard for this procurement is 332618 and 1,000 respectively. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contracting Registration database and Wide Area WorkFlow-Receipt and Acceptance database to be eligible for a Department of Defense contract award. Quoters are encouraged to use the Standard Form 1449, Solicitation/Contract/Order for Commercial Items form found at http://www.gsa.gov/forms/pdf_file and submit a quotation. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Evaluation and award will be made to the responsible offeror submitting the low cost, technically acceptable quotation. The quoter shall provide the information required in FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act--Supplies", the quoter shall state and list the country of origin, DFAR 252.212-7000--Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (NOV 1995), and DFAR 252.225-7035--Buy American Act-North American Free Trade Agreement Implementation Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate (MAR 1998)-Alternate I (MAR 1998).
