- Description
- The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance & Logistics Command, Pacific (vpl) proposes to contract for the Haul out and repairs of the CG 30607 located at Coast Guard Station Depoe Bay, in Newport, Oregon. Period of performance is 01 August 2004 ending 13 August 2004. This acquisition is being conducted as a Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The work items include but not limited to: sea trials, tank (mp fuel service) clean and inspect, strut bearing renewal and propulsion shaft alignment check, raw water strainer test and inspect, sea valve test and inspect, sea valve test/renew, hull plating, underwater body preserve (100%), and haul out weighing, and underwater body work. All potential Total small business set-aside offerors are advised that the Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about 16 April 2004. All responsive Total small business set-aside sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
