Description
The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services and Mental Health Services within two-three miles of the Coolidge House CCC, located at 307 Huntington Avenue, Boston, MA, for drug abuse treatment services and mental health services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2009. The services required for this contract include: Base Period: October 1, 2004 to September 30, 2005. Estimated Number of Inmates 105. (105) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 33 Individual units x 105 inmates = 3,465 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Group Units x 105 inmates = 5,460 total units. Option Year One: October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006. Estimated Number of Inmates 110. (110) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 33 Individual units x 110 inmates = 3,630 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Group Units x 110 inmates = 5,720 total units. Option Year Two: October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007. Estimated Number of Inmates 115. (115) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 33 Individual units x 115 inmates = 3,795 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Group Units x 115 inmates = 5,980 total units. Option Year Three: October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008. Estimated Number of Inmates 120. (120) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 33 Individual units x 120 inmates = 3,960 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Group Units x 120 inmates = 6,240 total units and Option Year Four: October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009. Estimated Number of Inmates 125. (125) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 33 Individual units x 125 inmates = 4,125 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Group Units x 125 inmates = 6,500 total units. For mental health services: Base Period and Option Year One respectively: Estimated Number of Inmates 15. (10) Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (1 per inmate). (30) Medication Monitoring (two per inmate). Option Year Two and Option Year Three, respectively: Estimated Number of Inmates 16. (11) Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (1 per inmate). (32) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). Option Year Four: Estimated Number of Inmates 17. (12) Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (1 per inmate). (34) Medication Monitoring (one per inmate). The services described for shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work, dated January 2004. The estimated closing date is o/a June 28, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The RFQ will be posted o/a May 28, 2004. Faith-Based and Community-Based organizations have the right to submit offers/bids/quotes equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
