- Description
- The Bureau of Prisons is seeking a Request for Quote from sources having the ability to provide OUT-PATIENT assessment and counseling services and Mental Health Services within a eight miles radius of the Correctional Alternatives Center CCC, located at 165 Marston Street, Lawrence, MA, for drug abuse treatment services and mental health services for male and female Federal offenders (inmates) held under the authority of various United States Statutes. Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2004 with four (4) one year option periods, with service ending (if all option years are renewed) on September 30, 2009. The services required for this contract include Line Item #1: Base Period: October 1, 2004 to September 30, 2005. Estimated Number of Inmates 10. (10) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Individual units x 10 inmates = 520 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 78 Group Units x 10 inmates = 780 total units. Option Year One: October 1, 2005 to September 30, 2006. Estimated Number of Inmates 11. (11) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Individual units x 11 inmates = 572 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 78 Group Units x 11 inmates = 858 total units. Option Year Two: October 1, 2006 to September 30, 2007. Estimated Number of Inmates 12. (12) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Individual units x 12 inmates = 624 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 78 Group Units x 12 inmates = 936 total units. Option Year Three: October 1, 2007 to September 30, 2008. Estimated Number of Inmates 13. (13) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Individual units x 13 inmates = 676 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 78 Group Units x 13 inmates = 1,014 total units and Option Year Four: October 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009. Estimated Number of Inmates 14. (14) Intake Assessments (one per inmate); Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 52 Individual units x 14 inmates = 728 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minute sessions per inmate) 78 Group Units x 14 inmates = 1,092 total units. For mental health services: Base Period, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three, and Option Year Four, respectively: Estimated Number of Inmates 2. (1) Mental Health Intake Assessment and Report (1 per inmate). (2) Medication Monitoring (two per inmate). The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Community Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work, dated January 2004. The estimated closing date is o/a June 28, 2004. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by this Agency. The RFQ will be posted o/a May 28, 2004.
