- THIS ANNOUNCEMENT FULLY REPLACES THE FEDBIZOPPS NOTICE POSTED MAY 18, 2004.The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Northwest Fisheries Science Center(NWFSC) has a requirement for a contractor to conduct a two week field pilot project to quantify the availability of potential prey species in the summer range of southern resident killer whales and observe the interaction of killer whales and prey as well as to assess the feasibility of using echosounder technology. Period of performance is five (5) months from date of award. Contractor must possess a 4 year degree in Wildlife Biology, Fisheries, Zoology or Biology. A request for quote and statement of work will be issued on or about June 02, 2004. Qualified contractors may request a bid package by fax at (206) 526-6025. This is a simplified acquisition with an estimated value of less than $100, 000.00. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-MAY-2004).
