- NAICS Code: 541620 The US EPA's Office of Acquisition Management is seeking a small business to provide air quality capacity building services in Central America. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 541620 with a size standard of $6 million. The small business must have the technical and personnel capability to perform at least 51 percent of the work and team members or subcontractors to perform the remaining work. In Panama, they must be able to provide technical assistance to the government, universities and institutes; installation of the instruments; and conduct training. In the US, they must be able to repair and conduct acceptance testing for second-hand air monitoring and laboratory instruments; and coordinate the shipment of the instruments to Panama. Selection will be made on a best value determination, with technical factors more important than cost. It is anticipated that the period of performance for this contract will not exceed three years. All interested parties should email the Contract Specialist (murphy.lisa@epa.gov) for a copy of the Request For Quote (RFQ). The RFQ will be available on Thursday 20 May 2004, and promptly sent to prospective offerors via email. THE DUE DATE FOR QUOTES IS 3:00 PM EST FRIDAY 4 JUNE 2004.
