- ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport, intends to award a Firm Fixed Price Contract on a Sole Source basis to Wind River Systems, 10 Tara Blvd., Nashua, NH 03062 for the following: VxWorks 5.5.1 OEM License, Annual Support , Maintenance ? 1 each; Tornado 2.2.1 Standard which includes Core Tornado Tools, Code and Tornado Documentation ? 2 each and Annual Support and Maintenance ? 2 each. The Government intends to issue a solicitation to Wind River Systems using FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13 in less than 15 days. The anticipated award date is 2004 June 25. This action is being processed on a Sole Source basis due to the fact that the Wind River Systems is the only known manufacturer that can provide this software tool which is capable of acting as the Operating Environment for the Power-PC cards and can meet specified interrupt response times. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Instead, they may be accessed at our web site http://www.npt.nuwc.navy.mil/contract/. We also provide electronic access in our Bid Room.
