Small Business Set-Aside: N/A
Description: NA This requirement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts and in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS), intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) to Deliver and install approximately 1,757 feet of chain link fence 8 foot tall with 3 strand of barbed wire, including 3-20 foot double gates. The project also includes the removal and disposal of the existing fence. This solicitation is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 238990 is applicable to this solicitation. The size standard is $12.0 million. The estimated range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative RFQ issue date is on or about 05/21/04, with a 06/17/04 closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 06/29/04. The RFQ documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities website. The FWS is currently using Electronic Commerce to issue solicitations and the resulting award. The RFQ documents will be available at the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov under RFQ Number 401814Q111. Paper copies WILL NOT be available.
