Description

Black Rock Fire Noxious Weed Mapping and Treatment The purpose of this contract is to secure service for noxious weed inventory, mapping and treatment. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment (with the exception of Government owned GPS equipment), tools, materials, supervision, supplies, and incidentals; and perform all work necessary to complete application of herbicides in accordance with the Detailed Specifications in this contract and the herbicide labels. Acreage: approximately 100 to 200 acres. Location of Work Site: The project area is approximately 3 miles south of Pocatello, Idaho. The area includes public and private land burned in the Black Rock Fire in 2003, and adjacent lands infested with noxious weeds that pose a threat for invasion of the burned area. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. This solicitation will be available by electronic posting and may be found at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/. The solicitation will be posted on or about 05/21/04. Estimated price range is less than $25,000.00. Contractors are required to register on the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov. The registration is required to receive contract award and will facilitate payment.
