THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION CONTACT MS VIRGINIA R. HOLEMAN, RN, NURSE METHODS ANALYST, AT 706-787-2093. EMAIL ADDRESS virginia.holeman@se.amedd.army.mil. This FEDERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY announcement is a notice that TRICARE Regions 3, 4 & 15 that include all DOD Medical Treatment Facilities (MTFs) in the states of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, South Carolina, and Tennessee are in the process of standardizing Hand Sanitizers as listed in the subject line abov e. Companies with current Distribution and Pricing Agreements (DAPAs) with the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia for these items are eligible to participate in the standardization process. Base company criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: Products available in any or all of the following: foams, liquids, jells, must provide customer support, in the form of a sales representative for each MTF within TRICARE Regions 3, 4 & 15, must provide clinical support, educatio n programs, and utilization reports, must provide company return policy, must provide company distribution network, must be able to provide product for all MTFs within TRICARE Regions 3, 4 & 15, and must provide electronic and hard-copy of proposed pricing and competitive product cross-reference. Base product criteria for this product line includes but is not limited to the following: must be waterless, at least 60% alcohol base, with or without a moisturizing base, hypoallergenic, have a kill rate of at least 99% in 30 seconds or less, characteris tics of the product will not effect the drying time on the hands, is compatible with any soap, scrub, lotion, and glove without compromising the products effectiveness, is simple and easy to use, requiring minimal training. Respondents must address all criteria listed above. Please send your response along with literature and representative product samples (enough to share with a 10 person Clinical Evaluation Team) of your companys Hand Sanitizers to Ms. Virginia R.
