- The 11th Contracting Squadron at Bolling AFB, DC is planning to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Kitchen Exhaust, Duct, and Dryer Vent Cleaning. The successful contractor will be required to provide all personnel, supervision, transportation and materials necessary to perform the cleaning of Kitchen Exhausts, Ducts, and Dryer Vents. Contractor tasks include but are not limited to inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining Kitchen Hoods, Ducts, and Dryer Vents located at various facilities on Bolling AFB. The projected start date is 1 July 2004. The period of performance will include one Base Period of performance, from 1 July 2004 through 30 September 2004. In addition, the contract period of performance will include four one-year option periods. If determined to be in the best interest of the Government, option periods will be exercised each fiscal year. A commercial, firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation shall be issued as a RFP for commercial services, utilizing acquisition of commercial items, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12 and 15 as supplemented. This acquisition is a competitive 100% small business set aside. All small businesses are welcomed and encouraged to submit an offer. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this notice. The RFP is planned to be posted on the Government Electronic Posting System (EPS) World Wide Web site http://www.eps.gov on or after 27 May 2004. The solicitation will only be available by electronic means from Fed Biz Ops. NO PAPER COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE ISSUED. The estimated award date is 25 June 2004. **NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERS MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (CCR) BY THE PROPOSAL DUE DATE IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD.
