- Description
- This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13). The required item is a marine diesel engine with sterndrive, Manufactured by Yanmar Diesel Power, Model 6LP-STZP, or equal. The existing motors will need to be removed and the new motors installed. Delivery will need to be made to Patrick AFB, FL. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0228 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 5088, business size of 500 Employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 423860. All current GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 25 May 04 at www.eps.gov . Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, fax (321-494-5136), or e-mail. NO HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Funding is not currently available for this request. This requirement is part of the Global War on Terrorism (GWOT) item listing. Award will be contingent upon funds becoming available.
