Description

THIS SYNOPSIS ALSO SERVES AS THE SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE EFFECTIVE 19 MAY 2004. Project QJKL 01-0008, Repair HVAC Building 801 consists of pouring a new concrete slab for a new condensing unit, remove all lights, fixtures and diffusers from ceiling panels and store for reinstallation, demolition of existing acoustical ceiling panel systems, existing mechanical duct work, walls and doors as indicated on drawings and replace with new, include new HVAC system which is to be tested and balanced. All work to be done in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings. The estimate magnitude of acquisition is between $250,000 and $500,000. The performance period is 120 calendar days (60 days for submittal approvals and material ordering and 60 days for actual on-site performance). The NAICS code is 236220, and the small business size standard is $28.5 million/year. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about 02 Jun 2004 and proposals due on or about 30 June 2004, 3:00p.m. Dates are for estimating purposes only and may be revised as specified in the RFP. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be evaluated as per the criteria identified in the Request for Proposal. It is our intent to post the solicitation, specifications, drawings and all required bid documents electronically to this FedBizOpps web site for vendors to download. A CD-Rom containing the entire solicitation package will be available by written request only, and requests shall be made in writing by email to the individual named below, or faxed to (612) 713-1425. Telephone requests will not be honored. Plans and specifications will also be available for examination without charge at the Contracting Office identified upon request and coordination with the Contract Specialist.
