Description

The Air Force Security Assistance Center (AFSAC) Information Technology Directorate operates a 24/7 public web site. This web site provides support to our customer base, which includes CONUS and outside CONUS customers. Our overseas customers have sometimes experienced problems with connecting to our site and or experienced problems with the performance of our business applications, which are hosted on our site. When a customer files a complaint or provides other feedback we have no way to prove or disprove their complaint. One reason is they are connecting using various speed connections, various speed modems, a variety of PC and software configurations and from a great number of foreign countries. We have no way to duplicate these various settings in order to test the connections. A web monitoring service will provide this 24/7 monitoring of our site and provide notifications when the site is unavailable. It will also test connections from various points around the world, which is vitally important for a public web site. The following requirements apply: 1. Provide a 12 month subscription to a web monitoring service 2. Monitoring will be done from 17 different worldwide monitoring stations 3. Monitoring will be done at 5 minute increments 4. All monitoring will be done on a 24/7 schedule 5. Provide daily and weekly performance reports by email 6. Provide access to company?s web site to login and check status/performance 7. Provide email notifications when site is not accessible 8. Must provide support for Secure Socket Layer (SSL) Period of Performance: One Year (base) with four (4) one year options to continue service.
