- Description
- This announcement provides notice of intent of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) to procure a bundled contract with an estimated value of over $1 million, including options. We will be soliciting for a contractor or contractors to provide primary care services to veteran beneficiaries at contractor's Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) located within Fayette and Washington Counties in Pennsylvania. The Fayette County CBOC is a new one which has been recently approved, and the VAPHS prefers that the CBOC be located within the corporate city limits of Uniontown, PA, or no more than five (5) miles outside the corporate city limits of Uniontown, PA. The Washington CBOC has been in operation since August, 2001; and the VAPHS prefers that the CBOC be located within the corporate city limits of Washington, PA, or no more than five (5) miles outside the corporate city limits of Washington, PA. The Fayette and Washington CBOCs shall be solely dedicated to veterans. The estimated base year performance period is January 1, 2005 - December 31, 2005, with four (4) option years. The Government may make multiple awards or a single award. It is estimated that the solicitation will be issued on or about July 23, 2004, with a proposal due date of September 7, 2004.
