Description

The VA Network Business Center intends to award a firm fixed price contract under Solicitation No. RFQ 600-693-04 for the following services: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, material and supplies necessary for general arboreal maintenance of trees on property located throughout the VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System, 11301 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90073. The work will include pruning, removal of dead trees, removal of brush and bamboo, weeding, chipping and spreading of debris on property, debris that cannot be chipped to be hauled off site. The contract performance period is June and October 2004. All work shall be performed in accordance with the specifications, terms and conditions of the contract. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The designated NAICS code is 561730. The size standard is $6 million. Solicitation will be available on or about 5/26/04. A copy of the solicitation may be obtained electronically via Department of Veterans Affairs Business Opportunities System at the following URL address: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. Responses to the solicitation are due on or about 6/16/04 4:00 p.m. Any amendments to the solicitation will also be available at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov. See Numbered Note 1.
