- The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 500 West Fort Street, Boise, Idaho intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with St. Alphonsus Nephrology Center to provide Inpatient Acute Bedside Dialysis Services to veteran patients. Services shall include all personnel, equipment, drugs, supplies and related travel. This procurement will be a commercial item solicitation under FAR Part 12 and 6.302. The Authority cited and justification are based on the determination that the Government's minimum requirement can best be satisfied by services available from one source. Other persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement by June 2, 2004. Such qualifications/capabilities will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, However, all responses received on or before June 2, 2004, will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications and responses received after June 2, 2004 will not be accepted.
