- Description
- The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC) proposes to extend Contract No. PBGC01-CT-98-0567 with DigitalNet Government Solutions, LLC. Under the contract, DigitalNet will continue to provide business operations and data capture support for the PBGCs Premium Accounting System. The extension is for a period of six months which will extend services through March 31, 2005. The estimated level-of-effort during this period is 30,000 hours. The extension with DigitalNet will: allow additional time to re-compete the existing contract; allow for a continuity of operations that only DigitalNet can provide; allow for an orderly transition after the peak season for business operations under the contract; and allow the PBGC to take full advantage of the results of a Business Process Re-engineering initiative currently underway. An RFP will not be issued. See Note 22.
