- Scope of work includes but is not limited to the following work. Remove boiler master controllers, fuel controllers, furnace pressure controllers, feedwater controllers and air/O2 controllers on #1, #3, & #4 boilers. Provide, install, and configure Siemens-Moore 353 Controllers in place of existing controls on #1, #3, and #4 boilers. Install, configure, and calibrate YCA ZrO2 In-situ oxygen probe and analyzer on #1 and #3 boilers. Remove existing, furnish, and install 1 Maxon 6M Synchro control valve (natural gas service) on #4 boiler. Remove existing, furnish, and install new burner management system package which includes: Fireye E110 Flame Monitor, EP160 Programmer, E1R1 Amplifier, 48PT21003 Scanner, ED510 Display, ED300 Expansion Modicule, Pilot Lights, push button, and position selectors pre-mounted in wall mount enclosure on #4 boiler only. Furnish and install panel blanking plate for existing Bailey ICCS systems. Start-up and commission boilers. Tune the fuel-air ratio for full firing range of burners. Provide panel layout drawings, electrical termination drawings and logical drawings. The work will be performed at the Everett McKinley Dirksen U.S. Courthouse located at 219 South Dearborn Street, Chicago, Illinois. The contract completion time is (90) ninety calendar days from the receipt of notice to proceed. This project is set aside to HubZone businesses only. The North American Industrial Classification System Code is 238220 with a size standard of $12.0 million. The estimated cost range is between $75,000 and $150,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about June 1, 2004. Interested parties must access the solicitation via the FedTeds website at www.fedteds.gov. The solicitation will not be available on the FedBizOpps website. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. Contractors must register on the FedTeds website to have access to solicitation material. This registration includes providing a Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Marketing Partner Identification Number (MPIN). For additional information, visit the FedTeds website, www.fedteds.gov, or the CCR website, www.ccr.gov. The offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be July 1, 2004 at 4:00 P.M. (Central Time).
