- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville intends to reissue the Request for Proposal (previously issued as N68836-03-R-0042) for Warehouse and Transportation Support Services for the Naval Aviation Depot (NADEP), Jacksonville, FL. Services include material transportation, stockroom management and material management. The services will be provided at various NADEP sites at Jacksonville, FL, Cherry Point, NC, Norfolk, VA, Beaufort, SC, Orange Park, FL, Cecil Field, FL and Mayport, FL. The requirement is for a base period with four one-year options. Proposals are being sought from capable, responsible and qualified Section 8(a) companies with the personnel and expertise necessary to provide the services. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 493110 with a small business size standard of $21.5 Million. You must be small under the size standard to compete and must be certified Section 8(a) Program on the date proposals are due. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by FISC Jacksonville. Upon its release, the solicitation will be made available electronically at www.eps.gov or by e-mailing a solicitation request to the contracting officer. A hard copy of the solicitation will not be made available. Offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to be considered for award. A site vist will be conducted at NADEP Jacksonville on 4 June 2004. EMAIL REQUEST FOR A VISITOR INFORMATION SHEET, which must be completed and FAXed to the numbers on the sheet by 28 close of business May 2004. Anticipated solicitation issuance date 19 MAY 04.
