Description

The United States Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) intends to acquire a Water Pump Assembly, National Stock Number 2930-01-169-9165, for the 750 Kilowatt (kW) Prime Power Mobile Electric Power (MEP) 012A and MEP-208A generators. This p rocurement is a limited source acquisition under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The acquisition is limited to distributors of Cummins Engine Company Inc. (Cummins), 500 Jackson Street , M/C 80960, Columbus, Indiana 47201-6258. The acquisition is for a firm fixed price, five-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract. Cummins is the only source that manufactures the required Water Pump and is the only source that possesses the technical data, facilities, and expertise needed to manufacture this item. The estimated maximum quantity for this contract is for up to 755 Water Pump Assemblies. The minimum guaranteed amount is for 30 Water Pump Assemblies. The U.S. Army Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established a Business Opportunities Page (BOP) website to allow electronic transmittal of Request for Proposals (RFPs) from CECOM to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, oper ate, send and receive information from the Business Opportunity Page at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for release of the solicitation and any subsequent amendments or information. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Register (CCR) to receive contract award or payment. See Note 22.
