Description

Amend 01: Correction: The Government intends to award to Ellsworth Officer's Club, 1000 Ellsworth Street, Suite 1000, Ellsworth AFB South Datkota 57706-4939. The 42d Contracting Squadron, Maxwell AFB AL, intends to award, on a sole source basis, for food services for Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) cadets assigned to three Field Training Units (FTU) at Ellsworth AFB SD. There are 3 sessions of field training with approximately 450 AFROTC Cadets and 29 Cadet Training Assistants. The first training session begins 20 May 2004. This requirement is to provide food and beverage buffet lines to ensure that 1,440 cadet trainees cadet training assistants are given three balanced meals during three summer training sessions. Meals must be served and consumed within specific windows of time in order to meet and not negatively impact the FT mission. Cadets have approximately 20-30 minutes for meals, and must have an area to place backpacks, etc. while they are eating. All meals must be served in an indoor facility and cannot be negatively impacted by weather. The Government intends to award to Ellsworth Officer Club, 1000 Ellsworth Street, Suite 2000, Ellsworth AFB AL 57706-4939. A solicitation will not be issued. This is a sole source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to a single source.
