- Description
- Public Law 102-16 allows that service members within their six months of active duty and up to one year after departing from active duty can afforded Vocational/Educational Counseling Services. Contractor will provide Vocational Educational Counseling services to eligible beneficiaries of the Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Division, San Diego California. The services to be provided by the Contractor may include all or part of the services described in Title 38 U.S.C., Section 3697A(a). The primary purpose of the Vocational Educational Counseling is to assist the counselee to develop a realist obtainable career path. The process is an assessment, which is vocationally oriented evaluation. The Contractor must have facilities that are physically located in the San Diego California areas. Proposals located outside these areas will not be considered. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business concerns and NAICS 621512 applies to this solicitation. Anticipated issue date for this solicitation is on or about June 08, 2004 and closing date for receipt of proposals will be (30) days thereafter. All requests for this solicitation must be in writing to Contracting Officer at the address specified above or may be fax to (562) 826-8067. Verbal requests will not be honored.
