- Description
- United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Midwest Area has a project entitled Replace Shingles, Gutters and Downspouts. The project is located at USDA, ARS, MWA, Coshocton Location, 28850 State Route 621, Fresno, OH. The work includes, but is not limited to furnishing all labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and other necessary work to perform and complete work on the Administration Building, Chemistry Building, Old Dormitory, Old Dormitory Addition, Old Dormitory Garage, East 4-car Garage, Storage Building, Shop Building, Carpenter Shop and West 4-car Garage. The work involves the following: 1) tear-off and replace the asphalt shingles with same on seven of the buildings for an approximate total of 154 squares; 2) remove and replace the gutters and downspouts on five of the buildings for an approximate total of 476-lineal feet. The period of performance is 90 days. All work shall be performed in strict accordance with the Specifications and Drawings. Bonding will be required. Estimated price range is: Between $25,000 and $100,000. This acquisition will be procured as a full and open competition under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238160 and the annual size standard is 12.0 million. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB). No telephone requests for the solicitation package will be accepted. All responsible and qualified sources may submit a bid that will be considered by the agency. A pre-bid site visit will be scheduled and information provided in the solicitation package. This will be the only opportunity to visit the job site prior to submission of bid. The anticipated IFB solicitation package will be available on or about May 31, 2004, with opening date on or about 30 days later.
