- Description
- In accordance with the Revised Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Circular A-76, the United State?s Environmental Protection Agency?s (EPA) Office of Human Resources (OHR) is publicly announcing the start of a Standard Competition in the area of Employee Benefits. The competition will include benefit services that are currently performed nation-wide at EPA Headquarters, Regional Offices, Cincinnati, Research Triangle Park (RTP), Las Vegas and Ann Arbor. The areas under study are Health Benefits, Life Insurance, Long Term Care, Eldercare, Thrift Savings Plan, Workers? Compensation, Retirement Benefits and Counseling, Unemployment Compensation, Flexible Spending Accounts, Leave Bank/Leave Transfer, Employee Assistance and Counseling Program (Headquarters Only) and Family Friendly Leave Programs. These services are currently provided by twenty-seven (27) Full-Time Employee Equivalents and limited Contractor Support. The Competitive Sourcing Official (CSO) is David J. O?Connor. The Agency Tender Officer (ATO) is Bill Laxton. The Contracting Officer (CO) is Jill Robbins. The anticipated solicitation release date is August 2, 2004. The projected end date for this competition is December 31, 2004.
