- 9. DESCRIPTION: (see reminder notes below)The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) is soliciting for the publishing of a civilian enterprise base guide with unofficial telephone directory and base maps in support of Commander Navy Region Northwest (CNRNW). Procurement will be in accordance with DoD Instruction 5120.4. The base guide, telephone directory, and map is an authorized publication containing advertising prepared and published under contract. The right to circulate the advertising in the publication is the only contractual consideration to pay for the publication. Contractor will be required to provide an estimated @@@ hardcopy base guides with telephone directory, @@@ maps, and @@@ compact disc base guides with telephone directory each year. Place of delivery is various bases within Kitsap, Snohomish, and Island County, Washington. The contract shall be for a base period of performance of two years, with the possibility of two, two-year option periods. The unrestricted solicitation will be issued on or about 30 June 2004 with a closing date on or about 3 August 2004. When issued, the RFP will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO web link www.neco.navy.mil. All offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFP. No telephone or fax requests for the RFP package will be accepted. An email request to jaymi.herrmann@navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFP from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFP/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to the electronically posted RFP and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render your quote unresponsive and result in rejection of the same.
