- Description
- This procurement is for a logistics level ?I? package for two (2) end items of Support Equipment: P/N 620900-02-01, Test Set, Helmet Mounted Display, and P/N 620700-30-01, Cockpit Magnetic Mapping Fixture. This support shall include the preparation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documentation in the form of Maintenance Plans, Interim Support Items List (ISIL), Nomenclature Requests, LMI Database Submittals, Technical Publications, Provisioning, and a Calibration Measurements Report Summary. The Government intends to procure these items under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c ) (1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. This procurement will be a sole source to the Original Equipment Manufacturer of the end items, Vision Systems International (VSI), San Jose, CA. VSI is the only known source that possesses the unique experience, technical data, and expertise needed to fulfill the government?s requirement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See numbered notes 22.
