- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract actions to Lockheed Martin Systems Integration (LMSI) for the Fiscal Year 2005 (FY05) Advanced Procurement and Fiscal Year 2006 (FY06) acquisition, integration and support of fifteen (15) MH-60R Multi-Mission Helicopter Lot IV production weapon systems. Under the proposed contract actions, LMSI shall perform advanced procurement of long lead material to support the procurement of Lot IV MH-60R weapons systems. This effort includes integrated logistics support and analysis, sustaining engineering, training, associated engineering changes, technical, administrative and financial data. As the sole manufacturer and developer of the MH-60R weapons system, LMSI is the only contractor with the experience and technical data necessary to produce and integrate the Lot IV production weapon systems. The Government does not possess a data package sufficient for the competition of this requirement.
