- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price contract with BC Systems, Inc, 200 Belle Mead Rd. Setauket New York 11733, to manufacture 9 External Power Monitors, Vendor Part Number 94433-6 for use in the UH-1Y and AH-1Z Aircraft on an other than full an open basis. BC Systems, Inc. is the only firm known to posses the detailed familiarity and in-depth engineering knowledge, necessary expertise and drawings/data to produce the External Power Monitors. These External Power Monitors are used to provide protection for aircraft utilization and conversion equipment. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, only one responsible source. Award is anticipated in June 2004. This notice is for information purposes only. Note 22 applies.
